Sans Dumplings
There isn’t a whole lot to be said about this place when pulling up but the flavors and quality speak volumes to their doughy-pillow specialty. Located at Kemmeter Wines on the west side of Seneca Lake across from Anthony Road Winery you will find the gold mine of dumplings. Anything from pork to tofu or chicken and you WON’T be disappointed. Just look at the presentation and you’ll have to taste it for yourself. That’s right a homemade dumpling restaurant in the middle of the Finger Lakes.

Finger Lakes Rail Riders
Enjoy the experience of rail biking at any age and with any ability! You don’t have to be an athlete to ride a rail bike. The track is approximately 5 miles round trip and we allow 2 hours to complete the course. We offer 2-seat recumbent-style bikes. Reserve your rail riding tour starting July 4th, 2021!

Himrod Eagle
The Himrod Eagle has been a local staple since 1861. Over the years it has served as a full-service restaurant, bar, hotel, liquor store and even a barber shop. It was burned to the ground in 1946 and rebuilt as the structure that stands today. Through the years the Himrod Eagle has always served as a gathering place for friends to have a cold beverage, a hot plate of food and to enjoy the sounds of the train passing by.
In January 2020, the Oughterson family purchased the property. Our family has been local to Seneca Lake for more than six generations and has an extensive background in the wine and beverage industry. We are thrilled to have been so fortunate to take over at a place with such a rich history and great reputation. The Himrod Eagle is located on the West side of Seneca Lake, just a mile off of Route 14 on Lakemont-Himrod Road. They will continue to offer made to order meals and the best local beverages at affordable pricing.
