Keuka Outlet Trail
For visitors to Penn Yan’s Outlet Trail , Seneca Mills Falls is an easy diversion just off the trail. The aptly named Keuka Outlet Trail leading to the falls is a mostly level, three-mile walk from the start of the trail. Seneca Mill Falls is a 40+ foot cascade in three sections, one being an old mill dam spillway. Cascade Mill Falls is a 20 foot cascade with irregular drops, and a small dam spillway several feet upstream. The idyllic, shale-laden swimming hole near the falls is surrounded by ferns and natural vegetation.
Indian Pines Park
This peaceful park along the northern tip of Keuka Lake in Penn Yan has one of the best views of the east branch of Keuka Lake. Pack a picnic and enjoy a day at the lake, there are grills and picnic tables available but are first come first serve. During the summer months lifeguards are on duty at the swimming area. There is also a full playground for kids to get all their energy out. This spot is a local favorite for picking an ice cream cone up at the Seneca Farms drive-thru and enjoying it by the lake.
Red Jacket Park
Red Jacket Park is the place to go when you’re looking to have fun in the sun. With a newly renovated playground, and pavilion that you can rent for special occasions everyone will have a blast. Have a swim and a picnic for an awesome time on Keuka Lake. This park has lifeguards on duty during the summer months.
Keuka Lake State Park
From outdoor Sand volley ball courts to playgrounds, boat launches, and hiking trails. This park is a quick 7 minute drive from the hotel and is a place the whole family will enjoy. Launch your boat for the day and cruise around the lake or play at the waters edge of the park then finish your day in our sparkling clean air conditioned rooms. A local favorite is the sandbar just out front of the Keuka Lake State Park. Launch your boat and pull up on this shallow sandy bottom and enjoy the summer heat in Keuka Lakes refreshing water – one of the best swimming holes in the Finger Lakes.
